Introduction
Resideo Technologies, Inc. and its business units including ADI Global Distribution, Inc. collects and processes data ("Data")) from connected products and related services under the Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 2023 on harmonised rules on fair access to and use of data and amending Regulation (EU) 2017/2394 and Directive (EU) 2020/1828 (‘EU Data Act’).
The purpose of this legal notice is to inform the user of a connected product and/or related service (‘User’) under Article 3(2) of the EU Data Act about the collection of Data and the rights of the user in relation to such Data.
ADI Exclusive Brand Connected Products
The following ADI Exclusive Brand products are Connected Products within the meaning of the EU Data Act:
The Connected Products generate system diagnostic, operational, and configuration data, are capable of generating data continuously and in near real time, and store data on remote servers.
Data from Connected Products is retained as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected for, but no longer than 10 years, unless ADI is authorized to retain the Data for a longer period of time under an applicable law.
Related Service
The following service modules are related services (‘Related Service’) within the meaning of the EU Data Act:
The Related Service collects data as authorized by the ADI Exclusive Brand privacy policies available at www.snapone.com/privacy, and other end user licensing agreements available at www.snapone.com/legal.
Data Access by User or Third Parties
The User or a User-designated third-party may access or retrieve the Data through a request to the User's authorized ADI Exclusive Brand Dealer, or through a request to ADI Customer Advocacy at customeradvocacy@adiglobal.com.
User’s Rights
The User has a right to request access to Data, to ask ADI to share the Data with a third party, and, where relevant, end the Data sharing through the methods stated above.
The User has a right to lodge a complaint alleging an infringement of any of the provisions of EU Data Act with the competent authority designated pursuant to Article 37 of the EU Data Act.
